Former Padre Tony Gwynn, Jr. joins the broadcast team this season in a role that will see him serve both as an analyst for FOX Sport San Diego’s pre and postgame shows on television, as well as an analyst during select Padres radio broadcasts and Afternoon host on the club’s new flagship station, 973 The Fan. Gwynn, Jr. returns to San Diego after being part of the Dodgers postgame radio show.
