Myers back in the Padres Lineup at 3rd Base

Wil Myers returns to the lineup for the Padres, but this time at 3rd base

San Diego Padres have activated Wil Myers from the disabled list and inserted him into the lineup tonight playing 3rd base versus the Los Angeles Angels. 


Myers has bee sidelined since with a bone bruise on his left foot.  He played a rehab game in Lake Elsinore on Sunday playing 3rd base for the storm.  

Myers was originally drafted as catcher by the Kansas City Royals then converted to the outfield with the Tampa Bay Rays.  He played first base last season and moved to back to the outfeild with the signning of Eric Hosmer during the offseaon.
