OSU Coach Didn't Tell Meyer About His DUI Arrest

More troubling information comes to light about fired Ohio State Assistant Coach

More damaging news has come to light in the story of fired Ohio State Buckeyes coach Zack Smith.  The Toledo Blade is reporting that Smith was arrested in 2013 for a DUI while coaching at Ohio State.  He later pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of in a Dublin Ohio court.  

"Mr. Smith was found guilty April 16, 2013, of physical control, a first-degree misdemeanor, in Dublin Mayor’s Court. The operating a vehicle while intoxicated charge was amended and the speeding charge dismissed."  According to the Toledo Blade.  

ESPN's Dan Murphy is reporting that Smith did not inform Urban Meyer of his arrest while working for the Buckeyes.  


Smith was fired after reports surfaced of domestic violence were first reported by Brett McMurphy.  Urban Meyers has been placed on paid administrative while the school investigates the matter.
