The Padres looked to bounce back after losing Game 1 to the Dodgers Monday night, and Rookie left hander Eric Lauer delivered. Lauer struck out 8 and was just one out away from completing his first shutout, but it didn't matter as Kirby Yates came in and got the one out save for the 4-1 win!

There's more good news you say? Wil Myers hit his 6th home run in the past four games and Austin Hedges also went deep to break the game wide open with a 3 run homer.
