When the Chargers left San Diego a few years ago, one of the biggest questions was “Will anyone watch them in San Diego or LA?” Well, to the shock of none the answer is a resounding NOPE. The TV ratings have come out for this past weekends opener for the Chargers against the Chiefs and let's just say, they aren’t pretty.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Chargers drew a 5.5 rating in LA, that was almost 28 percent less than the NFL game on Fox that drew a 7.6 rating (Cowboys vs Panthers). So basically what that means is, no one watched them.

Looking at TV ratings In their former home of 56 years was even worse. In San Diego, they drew a TV rating of 11.7, which was lower than the average of last years TV ratings in San Diego of 14.2. To put that in perspective, the Chargers AVERAGED a 24.4 rating in San Diego the year before they moved to LA and in 2010 a 31.6 TV rating.

To summarize all of this is that not only do the Chargers fail at capturing the attention of fans in LA and their fomer home of San Diego, less and less people are watching them and that should be worrisome for the franchise.
