Eric Lauer after his outing tonight on the hill for the San Diego Padres. Eric finished the game giving up one run, on five hits over five innings pitched. Lauer struck out four, walked one and gave up one home run and got the win for the Padres. Lauer also knotched his first career RBI on a sacrifice fly to right field in the second inning that brought home A.J. Ellis. With his pickoff of Joey Votto in the third inning of the ballgame, Lauer recorded his fifth pickoff on the season which puts him in a tie for the lead for most pickoffs in Major League Baseball, he is tied with Julio Teheran of the Atlanta Braves.
