Week in Review:

Here are social media posts that recap the world of sports over the last week.

LeBron has been in the media plenty this summer, but this week he made headlines for something that was not basketball related.  James opened his “I Promise” school in Akron, Ohio.

Trevor Hoffman was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame this weekend.

While out in Cooperstown, Tony Gwynn Jr. got a chance to see his father’s plaque for the first time.

The Atlanta Hawks are going to be the first team to offer “fan friendly” concession stands prices. This is a concept that most sports fans can get behind.

We could all use a teammate like Ozzie Albies.

Sean Newcomb of the Atlanta Braves was one strike shy of a no-hitter. Chris Taylor of the Dodgers broke up the bid on a clean single to the left fielder.

@seannewk was straight dominant today. He came within ONE strike of a no-hitter.

Shaquem Griffin made a name for himself with at the University of Central Florida. He was the backbone of a defense that was crucial to their undefeated season last year. In his first training camp, he is already making waves.

The offense was thinking six... But @shaquem_griffin had other plans. #NFLTrainingCamp (via @seahawks)

Football is back. Chandler Jones of the Arizona Cardinals unleashed his power on some of the training equipment.

Zlatan does what Zlatan wants. This is his first hat trick since coming to Los Angeles. Of course, he had to celebrate in style.

@iamzlatanibrahimovic’s first ever @mls hat trick? You knew the shirt was coming off.
