The first Stanley Cup game in Las Vegas was truly poetic.

For the entire year, the inaugural season of the Knights has received a lot of attention. In addition to winning games, the season follows the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas only a few months ago.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights were the victors in game one of the best of seven series. Their quest to become Stanley Cup Champions will require three more wins against the Washington Capitals, who have one of the most talented rosters in the entire NHL.

The actual play on the ice has been remarkably entertaining, but it is the dazzling pregame ceremonies that have caught the eye of casual fans across the country.

Prior to game one, the team hosted a live performance from Lil Jon outside the new T-Mobile Arena.

Perhaps the promotional move that was most popular was the decision to have boxing legend, Michael Buffer, announce the starting lineups for both of the teams.

No one expects the Knights to slow down their efforts in making a great fan experience.

Game two of the series will be tomorrow night at 5:00 P.M.
