(SAN DIEGO) - After a few days of uncertainty, team doctors for the Cleveland Cavaliers announced that all-star forward, Kevin Love, will be available for tonight’s game one matchup in the NBA finals.

Love suffered a concussion during game six of the eastern conference finals when he crashed into Boston Celtics’ star, Jayson Tatum. He missed the game seven thriller between the two teams. Love has had a history of concussions. He missed time during the 2015 finals for a head injury. He suffered another concussion earlier this year as well.

In his place, Jeff Green exploded for an unexpected 19 points and eight rebounds. It will be interesting to see how head coach, Ty Lue, splits the playing time among Love, Green, and Tristan Thompson. Although Love will provide a nice offensive burst to the struggling Cavalier lineup, he has had difficulty with all of the pick and roll switches that Golden State creates throughout the course of a game.

If the Cavaliers want to keep the game close, they will undeniably need help from Love.

Game one starts tonight at 6:00 P.M. (PDT)
